Since I’ve left my town from the port
I’ve gone abroad and founded my own fort
We stand for justice and our sense of fun
Not to be put down by anyone
It’s such a sobering thought to think
This adventure may end some day
But we’re having fun for now, so what’s the harm
The fun will last long but I don’t think we will

We’ll do what we please
On our ship we can’t get hurt
We love it here on the sea

And when we have to go home

We jump around from town to town
Never a thought about what could go down
Sometimes I meet someone from my old life
Before I joined my gang of pirates I was nothing
I tell them to shove off
And we go down our merry own way
I feel the heat on my neck now
I know there’s no going back now

On our pirate ship we can’t get hurt
